Sarah Cannon

Sarah Desma Cannon, lifelong resident of Levy County, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 in Chiefland. Sarah was 98 years old. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed staying at home while spending time with her family. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents Elijah Geiger, Sr. and Lela Smith, and her four brothers. She is survived by her son Robert Cannon, granddaughter Stacey (Harry) Beatty, grandson Garret (Nicole) Cannon, 2 great grandchildren O'Neal Beatty and Christopher Cannon; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Antioch Cemetery on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 3:00 PM. Brother Travis Hudson will officiate. Services are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home of Chiefland.
