Obituary
Jerry Luther Dean, age 81, of Williston, FL - formerly of Wilson, NY - passed on Wednesday, December 14th, 2023, at the Haven Hospice Care Center in Chiefland, FL. Jerry was born June 10th, 1942, in Buffalo, NY to Edward and Felice Campbell Dean. Jerry grew up in Wilson, NY, graduating in 1961 from Wilson High School. After high school Jerry entered the US Army on December 29th, 1961, serving until December 14th, 1964. Jerry worked in the trucking industry, holding the position of Area Regional Manager. Jerry also ran his own business for twenty years. Jerry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Lee Dean; two daughters, Gerry Lynn (Michael) Conway of Rosemont, NJ and Dianna (Gerald) White of Jamison, PA; two stepsons, Richard (Patricia) Wickham of Dunnellon, FL and Rodney Wickham of Williamstown, WV; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Elizabeth Dean. A memorial service will be held in Wilson, NY at the convenience of the family.
