Ronald Emig

Ronald Glenn Emig, age 64 of Morriston, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16,2023. He was born on August 25, 1959 to Ronald George and Nettie Elizabeth Dyess Emig. He passed away at home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law (Debbie Emig). He is survived by his son, Russell (Victoria), grandson (Forrest), his loving partner Robin Sammons, his sister Julie Anne (Vicki), brother Larry Eugene (Lisa), brother Kevin Edward and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ron was a retired construction worker and truck driver for most of his life. In his free time, he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved playing guitar and listening to music, traveling, boating, fishing and spending time with family. A celebration of life, led by Pastor Jerry Philman, will be held at Knauff Funeral Home, 512 East Noble Avenue, Williston, Florida 32696 on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM, with service to follow at 11:00 AM, a brief graveside service will be held at Cherry Hill Cemetery. In Iieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ron's name to Haven Hospice, 311 N.E.9th Street, Chiefland, FL32626.
