Emily Joy Morris, a resident of Old Town, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 9th, 2023. She was 78 years old. Emily is survived by her husband, Thomas Edward Morris; daughter Phyllis M. Phipps; son Anthony Clay Morris and daughter-in-law Katya Davila Morris; and two grandchildren, Sebastian Edward Morris and Samantha Marie Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Daniel McKnight and Aleaner Regester McKnight; and her son, Thomas "Eddie" Edward Morris. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland.

As I have grown up and we are thousands of miles apart, I am so very thankful for the passed few years if reunions and coming to visit. Wish we could have more. You and Uncle Tommy were more like grandparents for me growing up. You are already missed so much and we are all blessed for having you as part of our lives. Love you so much. Give my mom a hug from me and tell her I miss her. Same for everyone that met you at the gates. I love each and everyone of you. Until we meet again, watch over all the family!
