Obituary
Jo-Ann Grant Harrison of Flemington, FL passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2023 after a long fight with leukemia. Jo-Ann was born in Ocala and grew up in Shiloh. She met her husband Bill there, and together they started their logging company and family. She lived a life of service to her family, friends, and strangers. Everyone knew her as Aunt Jo-Ann or Gram, and if you came to her house, you were sure to be welcomed with open arms and a place at the table. After visiting for the first time, many people have said that being at Jo-Ann's made you feel like you were at your Mama's. She loved giving gifts, making sure everyone was fed with their favorite food, and playing with whatever kid came around. She had a way about her that made everyone feel special. Jo-Ann spent most of her day caring for others but also enjoyed tending her flowers and taking pictures of the landscape, sunrises, and sunsets. Jo-Ann is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Becky Lemstrom (Steve), son Tripp Harrison (Michelle), grandchildren Callie Colburn (Zach), Will Lemstrom, Kirkland Sullivan (Austin), Tate Lemstrom, Chloe Lemstrom, Great-grandson Case Colburn, and her brother Loonis Grant. Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Harrison residence, 17701 NW 133rd Ct. Rd. Williston. In memory of Jo-Ann's nature of bringing joy to everyone, donations to Ike's of North Central Florida or Honoring the Father are appreciated; Jo-Ann supported them both for years. Ike's provides Christmas gifts to needy families identified by Levy County Schools. Honoring the Father furthers the kingdom of God by meeting people at the point of their need through sports ministry, construction, feeding the hungry, or offering medical services. You can send checks to either organization. Ikes of North Central Florida 31 NE 1st St. Williston, FL 32696 Honoring the Father 1183 SE 57th Ave. Ocala, FL 34480 www.honoringthefather.com

How blessed we were to know and love Jio-Ann. We shared three beautiful grandchildren together. Thanks you for lovingly raise your daughter Becky to share our son Steve's life. You were the epitome of grace! Resting in His arms now, we have a perfect guardian angel. To Bill and family we wrap our arms around all of you! Not gone, just away!
