Michael Hummel

Michael V. Hummel born on December 17, 1942, to Vincent and Kathryn Hummel in Morrison, Illinois, passed away on November 29, 2023. He was a loving father, husband, grandpa, and great grandpa. Michael was the third oldest child out of 10 children. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Kathryn, son Michael David Hummel and Leonard Dean Rogers, and one step child Jeremiah Lane. He is also preceded in death by five siblings Larry Hummel, Virginia Hay, Jon Mark Hummel, Kevin Kent Hummel, and Holly Joy Sutton, and one step child Jeremiah Lane. He is survived by his wife Lynn Woods Hummel, nine children DJuna Kay husband Ronald DeMay, prophestown Il, Gary Eugene Esslinger , Iowa , JoAnne Elizabeth Harrell husband Robert Harrell, Randall Ray Hummel Tampa Fla, Tammy Sue Boatwright husband Dan Boatwright Sandoval Il , Michael Vernon Hummel wife Mary , South Carolina and his baby daughter Pepper Lynn Mogle husband Charles (Andy) Mogle Crawfordville Fla And Susan is from Morrison Il. Four siblings, Karen Crowley of Sterling, IL, Vincent Gene of Morgan Hill, CA, Francis (Fritz) Hummel of Elk Grove, CA, Susan Larson of Morris, IL. Three step children,Kristen Lynn of Winter Haven, FL, and Scott Edward (Valery) Woods of Arkansas. thirty two grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Michael loved to bake and was a truck driver. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. Michael worked for Amber Brooke Farms for the last couple of years in Bronson, Florida. He was very loved and will be missed by many.
