Edwin Ottis Blitch born June 29, 1939 in Trenton, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in Gainesville at the age of 84 years old. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Mattie, daughters Charlotte (Tim) and Ivey Lynn; grandchildren Joshua, Becca (Scott) and Jeffery; 6 great grandchildren Madison, Tanner, Castin, Dawson, Kelsey and Caleb. One brother Mitchell Bryant (Vicky); sister in law Rena Swain. Edwin worked with V.E. Whitehurst & Sons, Inc. for 53 years. A funeral service will be held at Knauff Funeral Home in Williston on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 am with a visitation held one hour prior. Brother John Coker will officiate the service. Burial will be held at the Rosemary Hill Cemetery in Bronson.
