Robert Wayne Nelson, resident of Williston, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 in Williston. He was 57 years old. Robert was born February 17, 1966 in Tampa, Florida. He has been a local resident for twenty years coming from Tampa. Mr. Nelson was a self-taught chef and was a kitchen manager for Homestead Park in Williston. He enjoyed shopping for shoes, especially Nike and Air Jordans, fishing and kayaking on the Rainbow River. In his spare time Robert was a tattoo artist. He was a Christian man with good morals and values and attended the Rafter Cross Cowboy Church in Williston. Spending time with his friends and family gave him most enjoyment. Robert leaves behind his loving companion and fianc, Lauren Bono, mother, Virginia Gray, brother, Michael Nelson, sister Susan Gray and his favorite niece, Virginia Alice Nelson. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Homestead Park in Williston, hosted by owner, Matt Crandell. Please contact Homestead Park for the service time.
