Obituary
Vicki Sue Conner, 54 of Bronson, Florida, passed away in Gainesville, Florida on Friday, April 3rd, 2026. Vicki was born on April 27th,1971 in Madison County, Florida to Charles Jessie Johnson(CJ) and Betty Jo Croft. She worked as a paralegal, loved her family, friends and found true joy in cooking and entertaining them. Vicki made soap, enjoyed being outdoors and boat riding. Taking trips was one of her favorite past times. She attended the First Baptist Church of Bronson and was also an Executive member of the National Christian Counselor Association.
Vicki is preceded in death by her step-father, Tommy Croft.
She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Conner III, her five children, Brandon Giddens, Suzanna Giddens, Jared Conner, Christian Conner, Ethan Conner and her grandson Coen Silas. She is also survived by her father Charles Jessie (CJ) Johnson Sr,(Briselda), her mother, Betty Jo Croft, her sister Kathy Johnson and her brother, Charles (Chuck) Jessie Johnson Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 at Bronson First Baptist Church in Bronson at 11 AM with a viewing starting at 10 AM. Internment will follow at Rosemary Hill Cemetery. Brother John Coker will officiate.
Arrangements have been placed under the care of Weems & Sons Funeral Home of Chiefland.
