Obituary
Dolores Viola White Joyner passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023. She was 92 years old. She was born in Ellzey, Florida on November 24, 1930. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Oscar and two children and their spouses Nena (Wayne) Powell and Tommy (Beth) Joyner, as well as her sister Edwina Asbell, sisters n law Connie White and Peggy White and two granddaughters, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She loved flower gardening, travel, and the challenge of a good puzzle. She was a bookkeeper with First Federal Savings & Loan in Gainesville for many years and later at Williston Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1996. Family visitation will be Thursday, August 10 from 6-8pm at Knauff Funeral Home in Williston, Florida. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 11 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Archer Florida at 10am. Reverend Elwood Baker will officiate. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.

Oscar, Tommy and Neena,I am saddened by the loss of Dee. Although we lost touch, we had a wonderful friendship when we worked together. I have many fond memories of her and all of you. I remember spending a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family at your grandparents house. My condolences to you all. I'm sorry I didn't know in time to come to her service. Linda
