Patricia Izzo

On Wednesday, August 2nd 2023 Patricia "Daisy" Izzo passed away at her home peacefully at the age of 81. Daisy was born on November 2nd 1941 in Plainfield, New Jersey. Daisy has been a permanent resident of Williston for the past 18 years. Daisy had a passion to volunteer throughout the Williston community. Her volunteering included crocheting gifts for Santa's Workshop, being the queen of concession stands and lending herself to Joyce Bullock Elementary in many capacities. Daisy was an avid baseball fan. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and scratching lottery tickets. Most importantly Daisy loved her family unconditionally. She was a wonderful mother who was always there whenever we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well loved member of the Williston community. Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Michael Izzo, brother Richard Scalera and great grandson Noah Izzo. She is survived by her two children, Dominick (Dorothy) and Patty (Steve) and her brother Tommy (Sharon); her grandchildren, Ashley (Zack), Michael, Niki, Anthony, Brooke and Natalie. She also had five great grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Gracie, Weston, and Reed. Daisy touched our lives and will be greatly missed. Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure. A funeral service will be held at Knauff Funeral Home of Williston on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 5 PM with Brother Wes Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5 for a visitation. Burial will follow at the Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston. Donations can be made in honor of Daisy to Joyce Bullock Elementary 130 SW 3rd St, Williston, FL 32696. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.
