Obituary

Hayden C. “Pappy-Papster” Sloan, age 83, received his wings, April 7th, 2026. He was born on January 11th, 1943 to JC Sloan and Betty Sloan Harrelson in Charlotte, North Carolina.


He was preceded in death by his parents and stepdad Bill Harrelson, his brother, David Harrelson and his son, Hayden Sloan Jr.


He is survived by his wife, Brenda of 38 years. One daughter, Paula Mundy, one son Jamie Pope(Nicole), three grandsons, Jason Mundy(Tiffany), Austin Mundy(Sarah), Jesse Pope(Renley) and one granddaughter, Macey Pope. He is also survived by five great grandchildren Kayden, Hudson, and Emma Mundy, as well as, Dylan and Katie Allison.


There will be no service at this time. Weems & Sons Funeral Home of Chiefland Florida will be caring for the family.
