Donna Weeks

On Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 Donna Marie Willis Weeks, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at the age of 60 years old after battling ovarian cancer for over six years. Donna was born February 7, 1963 in Williston Florida and from birth, through school and beyond, her roots were always firmly grounded to Williston. She was known for her caring spirit, loving smile and yummy desserts. On March 17, 1990, she married her beloved husband, Walter Weeks, who she loved until her very last breath. For over 30 years of her life Donna practiced as an LPN, advocating for those who could not stand up for themselves and ensuring the safety of her patients. She was a lover of desserts (hater of washing dishes) and always enjoyed making cakes for those she loved or wished to thank. In her late months when baking was too difficult, she enjoyed watching the birds come by the window looking at pretty flowers and cuddling with her watchdog Sweet Pea. She went by many names Donna, Sis, Donnie, Momma but her favorite was Sassy. She loved her family and they loved her in return. She always enjoyed their visits and family get-togethers. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, James and Pat Willis, and a special aunt Cleo Clifton. She is survived by her husband Walter Weeks, two daughters, Sarah Oliveros (Eddy) and Emma Weeks, three brothers, Jimmy Willis, Brody Giddens (Connie) and Bobby Giddens, three sisters Barbara Quincey (Danny), Doris Seckinger (Arthur), Debra Osteen (David) and her three most prized possessions, her grandbabies Sebastian, Lucy and Penelope, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Williston, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Donna previously requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Williston Animal Group (WAG). Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.
