Betty Galloway

Betty Jean Stoughton Galloway of Chiefland, Florida and formerly of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away on June 7, 2023. Betty was born in Otsego, Michigan on January 3, 1924. Betty was a shipping and receiving clerk for the Allied Paper Company, also was a school bus driver for the Otsego public schools, and a homemaker. She lived in Otsego, Michigan until 1973 moving to Kalamazoo, then in 2007, she moved to Chiefland, Florida. She had been spending her fall and winter in Florida for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents Morris and Audrey Stoughton, brother Donald Marvin and Morris Stroughton, sister Shirley Campbell and Eva Belden, sons Kenneth Dale and David Lee Galloway, former husband Kenneth Ford Galloway and companion Franklin Lynn. Betty is survived by her sister Linda ( Ted ) Clark of Kingsville, Texas, one sister-in-law Jean Stroughton, four grandchildren, Renee Martin, Ryan Galloway, Rayden Galloway, and Eric Galloway, nine great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and her caregiver Lavonia Luke. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at Winkle Funeral Home, 207 East Allegan Street Otsego, MI., at 11:00 A.M. with Lee Stoughton officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Mountain Home Cemetery.
