Robert Blankenship

Robert Blankenship, resident of Morriston, Florida passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Williston Care Center. He was 86 years old. Robert was born to parents Gloster and Nannie Blankenship on August 29, 1936 in Mc Dowell, West Virginia. Robert was a long distance truck driver for many years. He enjoyed piddling in his workshop, woodworking and building all kinds of furniture. Sometimes, Robert would hunt and fish, but he really enjoyed traveling with his wife, Emma. Together they traveled 49 states and their favorite place to visit became the Blue Ridge Parkway. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Gloster and Nannie, sons, Bugs, Denny and Allen, sisters, Ruth Howell, Hazel Shaw and his dear fur baby, Peanut. He is survived by his loving wife, Emma.
