Frances Cannon

Frances L. Cannon passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2023. She was 78 years old and was born September 28th, 1944 in Ashford, Alabama. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Herman Cannon, her mother, Margret Trimnell, father, Coy Rhodes, son, Paul Marris, sister, Linda King, daughter, Angela Lozk, and her brothers, Joey Rhodes and Tommy Rhodes. Frances is remembered by Dorothy Colter, Hazel Helms, Earl Helms, Steve Rhodes, Brenda Rhodes, Timmy Wayne Edmunds, Donna Edmunds, also, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, along with many more extended family and friends and nieces and nephews. Frances grew up in Cedar Key and Chiefland area, but lived in Bronson, Florida for the past three years. She loved her family and caring for her husband until his passing. Her hobbies including bingo, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She loved talking on the phone and telling stories. Frances also loved watching her programs, like Walker Texas Rangers and Hallmark movies, even when she was sleeping. Frances was hard working all of her life and very strong minded. Most importantly, she loved the lord. She prayed for everyone and everything. She enjoyed spending time talking to Jesus. Frances L. Cannon will be greatly missed and forever loved. A visitation will be held at Knauff Funeral Home in Chiefland on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5-7 PM. A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Antioch Cemetery in Chiefland with Brother Dewayne Bowdoin officiating.
