Margaret Bundick
July 26, 1947 - March 28, 2023
Obituary
Margy Bundick, 75, of Williston, Florida went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on March 28, 2023. She passed away peacefully with Ralph, her devoted husband of 27 years, by her side. Margy was born Margaret Ann Robinson on July 26, 1947, in Buckhannon, West Virginia at St. Josephs hospital. Margy was a preachers kid and grew up in the church. She was a lifelong follower of Jesus and a longtime member of Hampton Baptist Church and Ivy Memorial Baptist Church. She and Ralph moved to Williston, Florida where she picked up serving in Childrens ministry and singing in the choir at the First Baptist Church just like her previous churches. Her church families were as important to her as her blood relatives. Margy has loved and served Jesus her whole life and would want anyone reading this to come to know and love Him as well. She was a teacher for 31 years in both Virginia and West Virginia, mostly as a second-grade teacher. She loved children and teaching them gave her immense satisfaction. Even though she considered Christian education, she ultimately chose public school because those kids needed a good role model. She loved nothing better than hearing students and their parents say, "youre a Christian arent you?" Maybe more than being a teacher Margy loved being a mom and a Grammy. She had her hands full with two sons and that life got even crazier when she remarried and inherited two more sons. She loved being a mom and gave all she could to take care of all her boys. But if Margy loved being a mom, she loved being a Grammy even more. She was richly blessed with eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. And if you knew Margy you know she loved taking pictures and most of them were of nature or her grandchildren! Margy was preceded in death by her father and mother Ward and Evangel Robinson and her brother Jerry Robinson. She is survived by her husband Ralph, two sons Matt (Cary) and Rich (Kelley), two stepsons Will and Paul (Rosie), as well as eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send donations to First Baptist Church Williston or Haven Hospice. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 3-5 PM at Knauff Funeral Home in Williston. A funeral service to honor Margys life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Williston on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10AM with Pastor Jason Owenby officiating. Burial will follow at the Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston. Heartfelt condolences are extended to Pastor Matt, Cary, and all of the family and extended family during this time of loss. As evidenced in her obituary, Margy was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and Grammy and was surely loved by not only all of her family, but the many children she touched throughout her teaching career and her work with the children's ministry in her churches. What a bright candle she must have been in her church, school, and community. May the many happy memories you all share help sustain you in the time ahead until you see her again. In Christian Love and Sympathy, Your Great Fork Baptist Church Family

I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Bundick's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her when her women's group from Ivy Memorial Baptist Church began supporting the students of (then) John B. Cary Elementary. She was easy to talk to, always had a smile and an evident love for children. I know her legacy will live on in the hearts of all she touched.
