Arnold L Smith, resident of Chiefland, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was 80 years old. Arnold was born on January 9, 1943, in Jackson, Michigan to Nelson and Gladys Smith. He served in the United States Coast Guard and retired from the Battle Creek Fire Department in Michigan. He is survived by Carole Merwin, stepson's Jeremy Smith (Renee), John Lyon, Ansel Merwin (Linda), and stepdaughter Susan Beam (Doug). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Chiefland, Florida. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland.
