Obituary
Harriet B. Wilson of Bronson, Florida stepped into eternity to meet The Lord on Friday the 9th of December, 2022 at the age of 102 years of wonderful, thankful and well enjoyed life. Miss Wilson relocated with her family to Florida at the age of 2 years old from Missouri; living in Marion county until moving to Bronson in Levy county early 1941. Miss Wilson soon became an active member of the Bronson First Baptist Church where she taught sunday school for many years and taught bible study meetings with great enjoyment. Miss Wilson began her career working for the county judge, then later continuing as a law secretary; even later as time and life were still plenteous she together with her sister, Helen, operated a land title business from which Miss Harriet retired in November of 1987; she also served on the Bronson Town Council for 21 years. Miss Wilson is survived by three nieces, three nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral worship services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Bronson, Florida at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022. Interment will be at the Millwood Cemetery in Reddick, Florida. Pastor John Coker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Baptist Church Bronson or to The Baptist Childrens Home at P.O. Box 8190 Lakeland, Florida 33802. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home of Williston, Florida. A dear and precious loved one has been welcomed into the very presence of God...(Rev. 7:15-17). The most glorious earthly scene that we can imagine cannot begin to be compared with the glory that is to come... For the child of God, death is the gate- way to glory. That's why the Bible can speak of a believer's death as gain. (2 Cor. 16- 18) Our citizenship is in Heaven... And one day, Aunt Harriet will be waiting for me at the gateway as I, too, gain a glorious victory over the power of death.

I had the great privilege of caring for Ms. Wilson at the nursing home. She was truly amazing!!! Every morning she was up, dressed, ready for the day and always neat as a pin! She had a beautiful smile, great sense of humor and warm heart that I will greatly miss. During our time together she gave me some great history lessons of our town, which I happily share with others as I affectionately remember this lovely lady! God Bless you Ms. Wilson
