Linda Hasson

Linda Edison Hasson passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 13, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Home in Dowling Park, Florida. Linda was born on May 25, 1944, in Ocala, Florida to J.C. and Annie Rae Edison. She graduated from Dunnellon High School and attended Central Florida College in Ocala, and retired from Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Linda enjoyed being with her family, an avid gator fan, loved cooking and baking with carrot cake one of her specialties, word puzzles, various crafts and counted cross stitch. She is survived by sons Paul (Donna) Hodge, Middleburg, FL and Ray (Heather) Hodge, McAlpin, FL and grandchildren; stepson Todd (Jennifer) Hasson, Melbourne, FL; siblings John Edison, Chiefland, FL; Judy Markley, Markle, IN; Gail Faircloth, Chiefland, FL; Ed (Janice) Edison, Ocala, FL; Jeff (Teri) Edison, Chiefland, FL.; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "DIck" Hasson, parents, J.C. And Annie Rae Edison; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Patricia Edison. Lindas heart was made of gold always putting others before self and looking on bright side of life. She suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for many years, complaining wasn't part of her vocabulary. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Arrangements are pending at this time.
