Helen Poupard

Helen Amelia Germani Poupard Born October 12, 1930 Died December 5, 2022 Helen was born in Monroe, Michigan on October 12, 1930. She married Robert (Bob) Richard Poupard on October 7, 1950. The Poupards moved to Williston in 1959. Together, they owned and operated Frog's Bar-B-Que in Williston until they retired. The Poupards were married for 63 years, until he passed away in 2014, one month shy of their 64th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Poupard was of the Catholic faith. She and her family were founding members of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston. She served on many committees to include the Church Council, the Ladies Guild and was the choir director of the church for many years. She loved music. She loved to sing, play the organ, and compose music. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her parents, Gail and Patricia Germani, and her granddaughter, Tiffany Linda Poupard. She is survived by three children, Mark Poupard (Evelyn), Tommy Poupard (Sandi) and Gail Brown, five grandchildren, Mindy Brosnan (Sean), Glynn Marsh (Danielle), Megan Slater (Justin), Andrew Poupard (Veronyca), and Samantha VelDink. Along with six great grandchildren, with the seventh great grandchild due in 2023. Knauff Funeral Home is honored to serve the Poupard family during their time of transition.
