Obituary
Dick Kalback passed peacefully on November 9, 2022 at his home in Morriston, Florida at the age of 81. He was born on July 13, 1941 to Irving and Margarie Kalback and was raised in Miami, Florida. Dick had a lifelong career in real estate in which he retired from. He is a 41 year sponsor and advocate of AA. Fishing, boating, and gardening were only some of his hobbies but he ultimately enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Irving Kalback and Marjorie Kalback and his siblings Mary, Patricia, Kay, and Robert. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Charlene Kalback, his sons Robert Kalback and wife Hilary, Joseph Kalback, Richard Evans, and five grandchildren Abigail, Cailey, Colorado, Isabella, and Matthew. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church 17353 US 27 Alt. Williston, FL 32696. Father Anthony Hamaty will officiate. Burial at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, Florida. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston. To the sweetest and loving family that welcomed us as your own and has loved us ever since. No words are known to describe what the Mr. Kalback meant to us. To me he was the gentlest giant I have ever met. His wisdom and guidance he shared with joy and truly made you look at the world different. He is all around you now. The warmth of the sun on your cheek, the wind around you and his joy is in the laughter of all the grandkids. Live your lives tall and proud for he is watching. I love you all. Ayme.
