Obituary
Alice Faye McDavid resident of Palatka, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 following a lengthy illness. She was 82 years old. She was born on May 28, 1940 to Slater Sapp and Eula Mauldin in Williston, Florida. She lived in Williston most of her life and was a member of the Williston First Baptist Church. Alice built a 20 year career billing and coding in the accounts receivable department at Shands Medical Center. She was an avid reader and after retirement Alice volunteered in her church library. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and was a devoted gator fan. Her top priority were her family and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Slater and Eula Sapp, brother Carlos Sapp and her twin sister Jessie Ray Hughes. She is survived by her children Kenneth (Cheryl) Ratliff and Karen (John) Butts; brother Wilbur Sapp and sister Carolyn (Brad) Thomas. Grandchildren Kyle (Jordan), Kristen, Kayla. Great Grandchildren Paisley and Kayce. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 and a service at 10:30 AM at the Knauff Funeral Home in Williston, Florida. Brother David Butts will officiate. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.
