Cecelia Taylor

Cecelia "Arlene" Taylor, 55, of Cross City Florida passed away September 17, 2022. Ms. Taylor was born November 29, 1966 in Perry, Florida to Leon Pinner, Jr. and Cecelia Ross Liston. She was a lifelong resident of Dixie County, FL. Arlene worked many years at Hardees before moving on to the medical field. She worked as a CNA at Cross City Rehab and various other medical facilities. She was a member of the Dixie County High School Class of 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cross City, FL. Ms. Taylor was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed catching up with family and friends. Arlene had the gift of conversation and never missed an opportunity to anyone. She was known for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter Alicia Willoughby (Christopher), her grandchildren Gabe Jones, Braxton Willoughby, Greyson Willoughby, Taylor Willoughby, & Gage Willoughby. Her brother Eric Pinner, Andrew Pinner (Vernisha), her nephews Tut Pinner, Call Pinner, and a host of cousins that are too many to name. She was preceded in death by her mother Sadie "Cecelia" Liston. Arlene was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Funeral services for Ms. Taylor will be held September 22, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cross City, FL. with Pastor Mike Brown officiating.
