David “Dave” Klinger, born May 31, 1952, in Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion to family and community.
Dave dedicated 36 years of his career to NA Williams Farrell Co., where he worked in heavy-duty truck sales. He was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and the lasting relationships he built throughout his years in the industry. In addition to his professional career, Dave was also a dedicated farmer who deeply valued the land and the rewards of honest labor.
A devoted Christian, Dave had a passion for studying and teaching Scripture. He was an accomplished author who wrote four faith-based books: A Carnivorous Study of Scripture, God, Why Did You Let This Happen, Discovering the Treasures & Fruits of the Holy Spirit, and Keys to Pulling Down Strongholds. Through his writing, he sought to encourage others, strengthen their faith, and help them grow spiritually.
Dave is survived by his wife Kim Klinger, three children Stephanie (Kyle) Peterson, Sarah (Mason) Cooper, Kristen Klinger; nine grandchildren Levi, Abbie, Johnathan, Alissa, Aubrey, Silas, Daniel, Norah and Riley. He also leaves behind his mother Lou Johnston and brother Tom (Van) Klinger.
Dave will be remembered for his steadfast faith, kind heart, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to his beliefs. His impact will live on through his family, friends, readers, and all who were blessed to know him.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Weems & Sons Funeral Homes Williston Chapel. Pastor Wyrostek will officiate.
