Obituary

Eveline K. Frow, resident of Steinhatchee, Florida, was welcomed into heaven on September 14, 2022. She was born in New Jersey City, New Jersey on July 12, 1948 and spent most of her childhood growing up in Marathon, Florida. Eveline moved to Steinhatchee in 1984 and worked at the local "Jiffy Store" for more than 17 years. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi, proud volunteer firefighter, and avid crafter. Her name Eveline is only two letters from the word feline. This was more than fate as she had an extraordinary love for cats. Eveline homed countless feline companions over the years - both her own and as a foster cat mother. Most of all, Eveline treasured her cat trinkets proudly displayed throughout her home. Eveline was also known for her love for Halloween. For over 20 years, Eveline and her husband, Larry, turned the old library at the Community Center into an elaborate and spooky outdoor display. She was known as "Lady Eveline" by the local trick or treaters. She is survived by her husband Larry Frow, brother John Monahan, niece Amanda Oglesby, and great nieces Kaitlyn and Lindsey Oglesby. In lieu of a memorial service, we ask friends and family to remember her by participating in one of her favorite activities by snuggling a cat, playing a game of Yahtzee, or enjoying a glass of sweet tea. She was a cherished wife, cat mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is honored to serve the Frow family during their time of transition.

We are sorry for your loss. Miss Eveline was such a sweet lady. We will always treasure her gift to Emily to help her get to the Dominican to help at the orphanage. Such a loving soul. God bless her.

She was such a wonderful person. When I lived in SC and would come home, she always went out of her way to talk to me because we played an online game together. This sweet lady will be missed.
