Paul Adams

Paul J. "Grizzly" Adams resident of Williston, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was 75 years old. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Anthony Adams, Juno Isles, FL. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Winston of Centerton, AR, niece, Samantha (Deron) Gardner, great niece, Avery Gardner of Bentonville, AR, and his significant other for 37 years, Judy Henderson of Williston, FL. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War working his way up to Staff Sergeant. He was an Aircraft Loadmaster on C130 Hercules during the war and C141 Starlifters domestically delivering supplies to various locations around the world. This experience enticed him to become a pilot. He flew airline and corporate aircraft for over 30 years and had type ratings in a Nord 262, Learjet 24, 25, 35 and 55, Gulfstream, Challenger 600, Hawker and Falcon 10. He always loved to fly. He enjoyed duck hunting and watching the retrievers, college football games, especially the Florida Gators, fishing, golfing, and RVing for 12 years with his significant other, Judy. At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the staff at Knauff Funeral Home of Williston.
