Obituary
Edna Louise Shipp Powell, resident of Bronson, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties Care Center in Chiefland, Florida. She was 89. Edna was born to Wilks Cleveland Nichols and Suviller Levena Dias on January 9, 1933 in Gulf Hammock, Florida. She leaves behind, children, Robert (Juanita) Shipp, Danny (Donna) Shipp and Cathy Weems and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Edna lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching ball games and riding down the back roads of Levy County and spending time with her family. She attended Gulf Hammock Church of God and Bronson Church of God for many years. Edna also enjoyed many, many trips to Walmart and Dollar General! A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Gulf Hammock Church of God at 11:00 AM with Brother Jim Waldron officiating. Burial will follow at the Weems Family Cemetery in Bronson. Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home in Williston.
