Mike was the 3rd of our 7 siblings. He was an intense individual, all about education and finance. Yet he also loved his family and friends and loved to laugh. As a kid, I remember all the times we had playing in our backyard and how he loved his dog Rusty. He also had hamsters, which I accidentally let out of their cage and they all ran away. Mike never held it against me, he had a good heart. He was a Bible reader, and Psalm 23, The Lord Is My Shepherd, was his favorite passage. We put it on his memorial marker, a tribute to what brought him daily comfort.

Mike was a very ambitious person! He was driven by education and was proud of being the first in our family to graduate from college at the University of FL. He excelled in finance and business there, and enjoyed working in these fields. He enjoyed working in real estate, software sales and data analysis.
This is one of my favorite pics of Mike as it shows his mischievous personality even as a kid. He had pets as a kid when my mom didnt let any of us have any. I dont know how he talked her into it but he was the only one who ever got to have a dog, Rusty. He also had 11 hamsters and he let me watch them one time in their cage, as long as I didnt take them out of their cage. Of course I did, and they all went running across the back yard. He was so mad at me but he did forgive me. I dont think we ever got any of them back.
He liked to laugh and he enjoyed being on a baseball team as a kid and playing football in his fraternity in college. He was a practical joker.
As an adult he lived working on his acreage in Williston and tinkering with all his stuff. Ill miss him for sure but I know hell rise again in the resurrection as promised by Jesus. He believed that, and his favorite passages in the Bible were Psalm 23 The Lord is My Shepherd, and the Lords Prayer in the Sermon on the Mount.
