I'm in complete disbelief that Mandy is gone. My heart breaks for your family. Mandy took me in like family and even though I didn't see her much in the past years I still considered her family. Mandy always had a stunning smile. A great laugh. She kept me sane when I worked in Urology; that's where we met. She chose me as her friend and brought me out of shyness. I am so blessed to call her friend and so heartbroken. Prayers for all her friends and families. All my love.

The very first time I met Amanda was in the ER on the day her husband Shane Our Binoc was severely assaulted by an inmate at our prison. She was absolutely his protector in that ER but I willnever forget Amanda rubbing his forehead, wiping his face and hugging him tightly. There was not a doubt in my mind how much she loved him and she was doing everything she could to help him feel safe and I was just lucky to be witness to that kind of love and devotion.Sending all my love and prayers to you Binoc, Amandas family and friends.Sincerely,Laurie OwensRetired Major, Columbia CI
