Virue Williams

Virue Sullivan Williams, 85 of Adel, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Virue was born on June 10, 1937 in Williston, Florida to John L. and Vera Sullivan. She and her husband Jimmy Williams lived in Williston most of their life before moving to Adel where their youngest son and his family live. In the early 60s she worked for Dr. Daily before opening her own florist business. After that she worked for the Florida Lottery. Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons Jimbo (Linda) Williams of Williston, Florida and Monty (Bonnie) Williams of Adel, Georgia. She is survived by 5 grandchildren- Angus Williams, Amber Williams, Tripp Williams, Don Standridge and Craig Standridge. Virue was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, sisters Timie Willis, Mary Sullivan Ross, brothers Loye Sullivan, Aaron Sullivan, Paul Sullivan, Milton Sullivan and Lamar Sullivan. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, with Brother Keith Langford officiating.
