Obituary
Carol Ann Shiels Parks (77) of Cedar Key passed away in Gainesville, FL on July 3, 2022. Carol Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 24, 1945 to Margaret and Robert Shiels. She attended Northeast High School, class of 1963 and St. Petersburg Junior College 1963-1965. Carol Ann worked various jobs, but she loved being a mother/housewife most of all. Carol Ann was also a proud member of Cedar Key Womens Club. Carol Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Allen, 2 sons Craig (Stephanie) and Charles (Danette), 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, one great grandchild and brother Robert (Barbara) Shiels. Carol Ann was predeceased by her mother, father, and sister Margaret Stanaback. Memorial services will be held at Shiloh Cemetery on July 16, 2022, at 10:30 am. I just loved Carol Ann, growing up as her neighbor. She made life so much more fun! She was a positive impact on my life and will be missed greatly. My heart goes out to DA, Craig, Charlie and the rest of the family.
