Obituary
Freda Moody Watson was born in Otter Creek, Florida November 7, 1930, to her parents James Chester Moody and Vallie L. Jones. Ms. Freda Moody Watson loved crossword and word search puzzles, watching game shows, baking fruit cakes, cooking chocolate fudgies, and fishing (which she did win an award for catching the largest blue gill in 1965 in the state of Florida coming in at 1lb 10 oz.), but most of all her favorite hobby was spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Freda Loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. Mrs. Freda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Charles Larry Watson Sr. and a daughter Carolyn Lorrain Watson Swedenburg. She leaves behind a large family, a son, Charles "Larry" Watson, Jr. (Modene) from Gulf Hammock, Florida, daughters, Violet "Faye" Watson Antis (Robert) from Anthony, Florida, Cynthia "Cindy" Watson Chadwick (Donald) from Chiefland, Florida, Martha Watson Robinson from Sparr, Florida, Sheila Watson Long from Sparr, Florida, Avie Watson Fisher (David) from Chiefland, Florida, 23 Grandchildren, 51 Great-Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren, sister, Josie Moody Moore from Ocala, Florida and Shirley Moody Harrison (Jimmy) from Reddick, Florida and so many friends. Visitation will be held at the Knauff Funeral Chapel 715 W. Park Ave Chiefland, Florida Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 4:00 PM 6:00 PM The funeral service will be held at the Knauff Funeral Home Chapel 715 W. Aunt Freda and my Momma Levaughn aka Big sis were cousins. She was one of the best ladies we ever met. Her and momma were so close. You will be greatly missed down here but I am sure are having the best reunion in Heaven. We love you.

We were very blessed to make our acquaintance with sister Frita Watson when she started attending our church. Truly a lady of Grace and I love for God unmatched. We will miss you but your memory will keep a warm place in our heart forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.PS: Her fruit cakes were the best, just saying.
