Diane Ford

Diane Elizabeth (Ardale) Ford passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the age of 67. After a courageous battle with cancer, her final days were spent living her retirement dream in Florida, surrounded by her beloved husband and family members. Diane was born to Elmer Ardale and Donna Taafe of Youngstown, Ohio. She was married to Ralph C. Ford and they spent 49 loving years together in the Youngstown area. All her life, Diane cherished her family and friends. She inspired others to do the same and will always be remembered for her sincere generosity and her big laugh. She had a brilliant eye for interior design, and her home was always beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. Every holiday and celebration, she brought family and friends together into her warm home and provided all with many precious memories. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; three children, Laurie (Lloren), Christopher, and Ashley; three grandchildren, Roclynn, Jacob, and Joshua; and one great-grandchild Artemis. She also leaves her sister, Denise; two brothers, David and Donald; and numerous sister- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her father and mother. A celebration of life will be planned for later this summer in Youngstown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Societys Hope Lodge in Cleveland, Ohio which supported her during her battle with cancer. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston, Florida is honored to serve the Ford family during their time of transition.
