Obituary
"Barbara Austria White was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She left this world peacefully on February 25, 2022 at 7:55am. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Ruth Austria, her brother Tony Austria, and her son, Ian McGeachen. She is survived in death by her husband, Ned White, her daughter, Amanda McNally, and her stepdaughters, Katie and Leah White. Barbara lived in Chiefland for more than 20 years, where she worked at Walmart for 25 years. She was a member of Lighthouse Word Church. She loved playing with her dog, Abby and being outside, especially on the beach with her toes in the sand. Barbara enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family. Barbara and Ned traveled to many places and shared countless happy memories. A memorial service is scheduled for 1pm on March 3, 2022 at Lighthouse Word Church in Chiefland, FL." We met Barbara and Ned about 5 years ago, through Lighthouse Word Church. Barbaras sweet smile and caring, loving heart will always be remembered. She was so kind to our son, Tony, and he enjoyed her attention. We will miss your joyful spirit but look forward to spending eternity, Praising our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

I was lucky enough to know Mrs. Barbara as I was growing up in Chiefland. She had me in her home many times and was always a sweet and caring voice. I loved saying hi to her at Walmart whenever Id see her at her work. More then anything I felt so lucky to get to see the way she loved her daughter Amanda live and in person. It was deep and etherial and warm. Ill always remember how young she looked ever year without fail and how hard she worked for her family. My heart breaks for her loved ones.
