John Richburg

John Hubert Richburg went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2022, at the age of 66. He was born to Paul and Alice Richburg on March 14, 1955, in Gainesville, FL. He remained in Cedar Key where he met his wife, Ann, of 43 years. He spent most of his life doing carpentry work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, Florida Gator Football, and his dog, babe. He was a member of the Rosewood Baptist Church where he was the song leader. He dedicated his life to God and never passed up a chance to talk about him to you. Hubert is preceded in death by his father, Paul Richburg, two brothers, Eugene Richburg, and Harold Richburg. He is survived by his wife Ann Richburg of Cedar Key, his mother Alice Richburg of Cedar Key. Two sisters, Paulette Moore of Chiefland, and Shirlene (Phillip) Campbell of Cedar Key. His sons, Toby (Stephanie) Bell of Indiana and Tim (Jennifer) Murphy of Texas. 3 nieces and 4 nephews, along with a total of 15 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services are provided by Knauff Funeral Home and will be held on February 17, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Cedar Key Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Pastor Travis Hudson.
