Obituary
Jane "Lounette" Hammock Langworthy went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She came into this world July 24, 1942 as the precious daughter and last child of Frank Mance and Bertha Jane Hammock. She spent her early years on the family farm stringing tobacco and cane pole fishing in the Withlacoochee River. They spent almost every Sunday visiting or being visited by relatives. At the age of 21 she married Johnny Jackson Langworthy in Brooksville, Florida. In 1979 she relocated to Morriston, Florida where she lived until her passing. She was a loving and loyal wife. Never was there a more devoted Mother. She raised her 8 children and 1 grandson with unconditional love. She cared for her precious son Isreal for the 38 years on this Earth until he went to His Heavenly Home. She is preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Jane Hammock, father Frank Mance Hammock, son Isreal Langworthy, grandson Jacob Howell Jackson Langworthy, brothers Felix Hammock, Mance Hammock and Jack Hammock as well as her sisters Armenta Hammock, Ruth Keeling and Illa Zipperer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Jack Langworthy, sons Jason Langworthy, Aaron Langworthy, Eden Langworthy, and Jonathan Langworthy, 3 daughters Rhonda Strickland, Lounette Fazio and Rachel Standridge, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Knauff Funeral Home Chapel in Williston on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Knauff Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11:00 am. Brother Bobby Taft will officiate. Burial will follow at the Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, Florida. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is honored to serve the Langworthy family during their time of transition.
