Robert Armbrister

Robert Charles Armbrister (known to many as Charles or Bob) was born on May 17, 1942 in Cat Island, Bahamas. He entered into heaven by natural causes on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was a loving son to Sarah Jane Hart and grandson to Elizabeth Diana Hart. Growing up on the island he was working hard and making dreams for what lied ahead. After joining the US Army and deployed to Vietnam he was wounded and fitted for a prosthetic leg. A physical disability that he never let hinder him living an honest life nor participating in day-to-day activities. Upon his return to America he met and fell in love with Ana Leonor Ipia whom he was joyously and faithfully married to for 43 years. Together they lived in Miami and humbly raised his name sake, Robert Charles Armbrister II (married to Carol) of Tallahassee, and their daughter, Dr. Ana Armbrister Bland (married to Carl) of West Palm Beach. He also leaves behind a sister, Sheva Morgan of Lakeland, he will also be remembered by various family members including several nieces and nephews. He was blessed to have traveled to five (North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia) of the seven continents visiting multiple countries and participating in a number of activities, including but not limited to cruising, zip lining, skiing, riding OHVs, hiking, tasting and experiencing the exotic variety of foods and cultures God has cultivated on the planet. He truly lived and enjoyed the beauty of the Earth! He worked as an Electronic Technician for Miami-Dade County for nearly three decades. Upon retiring, he moved to Levy County where he became an active member of the church community as a religious education teacher, chorister, and ranking member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a God-fearing man with a solid foundation and moral compass that guided him to lead the family with strength, purpose, and success. He instilled into his family, through his own actions, the value of integrity, which is now being reflected in the upbringing of his grandchildren, Robert Charles III, Veronica Maria, Mariana Elizabeth, and Carl Martin II. His tireless love and devotion to his family and country were evident in his everyday thoughts, words, and actions. Leaving behind a legacy of familial commitment and strength. He never lacked in providing sage advice to any who asked and even to those that didnt! We ask that you continue to pray for his family, whom he loved unconditionally, as they mourn the loss of this wonderfully devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He no doubt has joined the legion of angels in our Lord Gods heavenly kingdom.
