Melissa Brackett

Melissa Dawn Brackett born on October 14, 1979 in Dayton, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Melissa moved to Plant City, Florida in 1992, she considered Florida to be her home. Melissas smile lit up the room when she entered and her laugh was infectious. She loved those around her with every ounce of her being and was a dear friend to all she encountered. Today and every day forward, she will forever be loved and missed by many, her children, grandson, family and dear friends. Melissa enjoyed nature, the beach and relaxing evenings and special moments, grand or small, with those she loved. Melissa is survived by her three children Harlie Brackett, Joseph "Trey" Brackett, Alexis Brackett-Anderson; grandson Waylon James Anderson; sister Amy Hawkins; father Buddy Hawkins; nana and papa Brenda and Kenneth Brackett; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends she considered family. Melissa is preceded in death by Wanda Hudson (maternal grandmother), RC Hawkins JR (paternal grandfather) Roy Adams (step father whom she considered a Dad).
