Valerie Hipp

Valerie Ann Scarborough Hipp passed away peacefully at her home in Archer, Florida on November 16, 2021 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 40 years, Ralph Hipp; parents, Earl and Valerie Scarborough; brother, Mark Scarborough and grandparents, Hitup and Pearl Maddox. She is survived by her children, Ralph Hipp (Sheila), Bill Hipp (Amber), Anne McKinley (Randy) and Patty Shewey (Todd); brother, Clark Scarborough; sister, Claire Robinson; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Service to others was a hallmark of Valeries life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she played piano and organ for over 40 years, Archer Womens Club, Christian Womens Club, United Methodist Women and a charter member of the Archer Historical Society. She loved music, traveling, quilting, knitting, Gator football and her cats, but her greatest happiness came from time spent with family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Archer First United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Melissa Pisco will officiate. Burial will follow at the Laurel Hill Cemetery. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is honored to serve the Hipp family during their time of transition.
