Hobson Barnhill

Hobson Tyson Barnhill passed away peacefully at the Chiefland Hospice House on October 28, 2021. He was born in Tidewater, Florida on September 11, 1927, to Bryd and Annie Barnhill. He is survived by his daughter, Terry Barnhill Andrews (Tommy) and son, Geary Steve Barnhill, two granddaughters, Tonia Andrews Joseph (Will) and Tami Andrews Hodanko (Robert), and five great-grands, Thomas Hodanko, Max Joseph, Kristina Hodanko, Maggie Joseph, and Daniel Hodanko. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Freeda Sharp Barnhill, two sisters, Doris Barnhill Beauchamp and Louise Barnhill Davis, and his brother Robert Barnhill. There will be a graveside service Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Chiefland Cemetery with visitation at 1:00 pm and the service at 2:00 pm. Arrangements under the care of Knauff Funeral Home in Chiefland. It is an honor to serve the Barnhill Family in this time of transition.
