Vance Rudolph

Vance Jefferson Rudolph was born August 3, 1995 in Ocala, Florida. He passed away suddenly on October 12, 2021 at Ocala Regional Trauma Center, due to a motorcycle accident. He was doing what he loved. Vance is a 2013 graduate of Lake Wier High School, where he was a member of FFA, Track, and Cross Country. He was in both Army and Air Force JROTC. He briefly attended college at UNOH in Lima, Ohio before moving to West Virginia. During this time he earned his underground mining certification. In 2014 he moved back home to Florida. He was employed with Summerfield Walmart for the last five years as an E-Commerce Specialist, in which he took pride. He loved his coworkers as well. Vance was an outdoorsman. When he wasnt spending time with his family, he could be found on the water with a fishing pole in his hand or on his Harley. Vance is preceded in death by his mother Kimberly S. Vance Rudolph, father John D. Rudolph I, grandfather John Leonardo, grandfather Raymond L. Vance, grandmother Phyllis L. Vance, grandfather Joe R. Tompkins, and uncles Timothy C. Farmer and Keith Booth. He leaves behind his mom, April D. Tompkins, step dad, Richard Etherton, brother, John "JD" Rudolph II, sister, Lori (Josh) Baldwin, his Nana Rudolph, special aunt, Bobbie Joe Tompkins. His immediate family Lynzee Ryan, daughter, Rylynn Rudolph, son Brantley Hill, niece Rylee Joe Baldwin, nephews Walker and Titus Baldwin, and his cousin that he considered a brother, Keiton B Tompkins, and his "Big Sis" Charlotte Durkee (John), along with a host of great Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Vance also had more friends and best friends than any one person has a right to have. Vance went from "Chilling on a Dirt Road" to Chilling on a Heavenly Road. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is honored to serve the Rudolph family during their time of transition.
