Troy Macarages

Troy Allen Macarages was born April 17, 2002 and passed October 6, 2021. Survivors include his father Tony Macarages, Jr. and wife Shauna, Mother Nicki Folds Sherrell, sister Madison Macarages and Cody Johnson, two brothers Luke and Austin Macarages. Paternal grandparents Cathy Reams and Carl Whigham, Louise Brophy, and Tony Macarages Sr. and Stephanie Macarages, Maternal grandparents Rev. Timothy Folds Sr. and Melissa Folds. Many aunts and uncles, 22 cousins Great grandparents J.W. and Derry Cruce, Preceded in death by Grandfathers Thomas R. Brophy III and Henry Reams. Troy was born on April 17, 2002, in Gainesville Florida and everyone describes him as all boy. He lived in Trenton, Lee, Williston, Melrose, Keystone Heights and most recently in Newberry. He was a 2021 graduate of Keystone Heights High School where he lettered in weightlifting and played football his sophomore and junior year. He loved spending time with his family and friends and usually was the life of the party. He loved working on his vehicles and making his sound system louder. He loved fishing, riding his dirt bike, his dog Stella, sleeping, his wild hair, and cool ranch Doritos with his Dr. Pepper. He worked at Florida Food Services in the warehouse distribution center in Gainesville, Florida. Funeral services for Troy will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Trenton. 7070 SW CR 334A Trenton, Florida 32693. The service will begin at 3:00 PM with a visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is honored to serve the Macarages family during their time of transition.
