Glenn Williams

Glenn E. Williams 91, passed away peacefully July 25, 2021, at Haven Hospice Center in Chiefland, FL with is loving, devoted wife, Anna, at his side. They had been married for nearly 64 years. Glenn moved with his family to Williston in 1978 from Pennsylvania. Glenn had a good sense of humor and he liked spending time with his friends and neighbors, always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He enjoyed fishing and going to the flea market in his spare time, but above all else, he loved being around his family. He would travel from state to state visiting with his siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the years to stay connected. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. He kept abreast of everything that was happening in their lives through phone calls and visits and proudly shared those stories with everyone he encountered. He will be sadly missed by all of those whose lives he touched. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Millard G. Williams and Vina A. Williams. He is survived by his wife Anna J. Williams, his sister Reba Friedland and his brother Parnick Williams. His children Becky Salvador (Mike), Derrick Williams (Mary Lynn), Lisa Reed, Craig Williams (Kimberly). His grandchildren Mike Salvador (Ana), Chris Salvador (Isabela), Corbin Williams (Melanie), Kellie Pintado (Chris), Sydney Reed (Michael), Kurt Williams (Karlee), Taylor Hicks, Courtney McDaniel and ten great grandchildren. As Glenn served in the US Navy, a military service and Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Haven Hospice Center in Chiefland, and Julie and Barbara in particular, for the kind, compassionate, service that they extended to Glenn and his family.
