Leona Collison

In loving memory of Leona May Collison. "Lee" was born June 7, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA. She proudly served in the US Navy. While stationed in Italy she met and married her husband, Larry, who was serving in the US Army. Upon discharge they moved to Hollywood, FL where they started a family. In 1973 they moved to Archer where she was a member of the Archer First United Methodist Church, secretary for the Lions Club, stay at home mom while her children were young, all while supporting her husbands passion for softball by traveling all over the state. After Lees retirement from Florida Farm Bureau she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, spending time with friends at Krazy Kwilters, reading and all types of puzzles. Lee passed away on July 25, 2021. Lee is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Minnie Huggins and sister Margaret Dyer. Lee was a loving mother and friend who will truly be missed by her husband of 60 years, Larry, her children Bonnie Williams (Gary) of Archer, Brian Collison of Jacksonville, her two grandchildren, Chelsea Williams of Archer and Chad Williams of Williston and her brother Jess Huggins and lifelong best friend, Patricia "Pat" Stickman both of California. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21 at 2:00 pm, Archer United Methodist Church.
