Richard Brooks

Richard Terrance "Terry" Brooks, resident of Williston, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Montbrook, Florida. He was 76. He proudly served in the United States Army. Terry, more than anything loved his wife and his very big family. He loved to hunt and run the dogs, fish, county music and loved to Jitterbug. He also loved his poker games. Terry is preceded in death by his parents O.B. and Dorothy Brooks, daughter Cheryl Brooks, two brothers Jerry Morgan and Burke Brooks, two sisters Nanada Smith and Ann Brooks. He is survived by his wife Pam Nelson Brooks, his children Lori Brooks, little Terry Brooks and Johnny Nelson. Survived by two brothers, Baker (Peggy) Brooks, and Joe Brooks and two sisters Gail Brooks and Eva Jean (Buddy) Watson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Terry also leaves behind many friends that loved him as family. Graveside Service for Terry will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 am at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, FL. Pastor Bobby Taft and Wes Smith will officiate.
