Vicki Burckhart

Vicki L. Burckhart left her earthly struggles behind and entered into eternal life with Jesus Sunday morning May 30, 2021. She was born in Massillon, Ohio on August 6, 1945 to Hobert (Steve) and Betty Stephen. She graduated from Perry High School in 1963 then married Richard Burckhart. They started life in Massillon, OH having their son Richard in 1964 then three years later in 1967 their daughter Shelly, eventually settling in Navarre, Oh to raise their family. In 1994 they moved to Kidron, OH where they lived until moving to Payson, AZ in 2004. They left Arizona to move back to Ohio in 2009, then made Florida their home in 2015 to present. She leaves behind her loving husband and children (and her dog "Willow"), five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her loving mother, her brother Scott and a sister Sue. She was preceded in death by her older sister Mary Francis, younger sister Ruth, and her Father Hobert. She worked at Ohio Edison/ First Energy Power Company until retiring in 2002. She enjoyed "playing in the dirt", was a great cook and she and her husband enjoyed traveling round the country in their RV. She was a proud member of Williston Church of God and lived her life with no regrets. Vicki did NOT want to have any kind of service or memorial so we are honoring her wishes. So heres an idea on how you might honor or memorialize her: next time you have a special gathering or a special outing or maybe just a special meal, do it in memory of the special lady Vicki was I think she would approve and appreciate a gesture like this.
