Wilma Daniel

I started visiting cedar key several years ago and I was fortunate enough to rent the house across the street from her. I’d watch the birds that she fed and admire the flowers she had growing. We became quick friends as she would share with me stories of her life and I would share mine. It’s odd how some people come into our lives and show us that kindness still exists. This was Wilma Daniel! And I certainly know that I am blessed for getting to know her. Cedar Key won’t be the same… but I will always love this lil place because of people like her. Thank you for your friendship.

She was the one to give me my driving test to get my license. I didn't know her well, but knew of her from my family, who spoke highly of her. May she rest in peace, and the Pitts family sends their sincere condolences.
