Dorothy Mikell

I was a classmate of Wayne's from like 1st or 2nd grade through our graduation from WHS. My mom also taught many years at WHS and interacted with Mrs. Mikell regularly. From mom and I: we never saw Mrs. Mikell when she wasn't smiling and so very kind and friendly. Anywhere you saw her, she acted as though you were the most important person at that moment. Not many people have that characteristic, but Mrs. Mikell did. And when you saw her with Mr. Mikell, you could tell they loved each other and were truly happy people. And while I have not seen Wayne in many years, I know where he acquired his friendly personality - he got that from both of his parents.

Mom you were an amazing mother and courageous to the end. We will miss you. However, I know we will meet again in eternity with our Heavenly Father. Love you!Your SonEddie
